Striker target Georgios Giakoumakis could be edging closer to completing a move to Celtic, as reports suggest that German side Werder Breman are moving away from the deal.
According to Greek media outlet SPORT24, the 26-year old striker could now have his sights set on completing a move to Parkhead rather than Germany after Breman admitted they would be looking elsewhere for striker targets.

Over the past week, there has been much speculation about the Greek frontman who finished as top goalscorer in the Eredivisie last season with relegated side VVV Venlo.
Several sides have been interested in securing his services, but Celtic and Werder Breman have been heavily mentioned, with both holding talks.
However, now it looks like it’s Celtic’s deal to lose, with Breman admitting they will be looking at other striker targets to bring into the club.
This begs the question of what the future holds for several strikers at the club if Giakoumakis were to make his move to the Hoops next week.
