French side Lille are reportedly still sniffing around Celtic star Jozo Simunovic as the French club look to bolster their back line.
According to RecordSport, the defender has already been subject of one £5m bid, however, that has not been confirmed by either club. The same report claims Lille are set to test Celtic’s resolve with a bid which surpasses £5m in an attempt to land the Croatian.
Jozo has had his ups and and downs at Celtic but he has been a prominent figure under Neil Lennon since the Irishman returned to the club in February.
Injury free and playing with confidence, Jozo is having a decent run in the side.
Ajer and Jullien are expected to be Celtic’s number one backline pairing but if Neil Lennon goes to 3-5-2, the defender would certainly be in the starting XI.
Both Jozo and Jullien are suspended for Celtic’s opener on Saturday so the Celtic boss will have to shuffle his side around.
Will Celtic have a decision to make before the window is closed?
