Reports in Spain claim Celtic have made an enquiry for Barcelona youngster Mika Marmol according to Mundo Deportivo.
The left-back has had a good season with Barcelona B and the interest around the Spaniard has increased.
Celtic will be in the market for a left-back Mika would come under a young, raw talent the Hoops could develop, get some good years out of and sell on for a larger fee.
Right now though, Celtic need first team players who can hit the ground running. We shouldn’t ignore projects but we need as close to the finished article as possible.
The transition should see a mix of youthful talent and men who can help Celtic wrestle their title back at the first time of asking.
Celtic still need to formally announce their management team for next season, but there are hope things have been going on behind the scenes and the wheels are in motion to replenish the squad.
It wouldn’t be a transfer window without Celtic being linked to a Barcelona youngster. I think the last player we actually did sign from Barcelona was Marc Crosas.
