Reports: Contact Made Over Potential £13m Celtic Deal, Massive Profit

According to reports this morning, Celtic have fielded interest for their talented young right-back Jeremie Frimpong.

The former Manchester City trainee has become a first team player over the last 15 months since joining the club with Neil Lennon putting his trust in Jeremie.

Glasgow Live are reporting Roma have been scouting the player and have gone so far as to ask his transfer fee.

The money quoted for the Celtic star is around £13m plus add-ons.

Jeremie has two and a half years of his Celtic deal left. When he came to Celtic it was believed Manchester City cut a deal which would see them get a sizeable portion of a future fee so the English club would benefit from any sale.

There has been no sign of the club or the player looking to manufacture a move but everyone has a price, especially in these times.

Celtic will have to look at their squad as a whole in the summer to see where they can make money and keep the books balanced. At that point, it could be best for both parties.
