CELTIC are reportedly interested in League One striker Jack Marriot.
The Peterborough frontman has banged in an impressive 33 goals for The posh this season and has won the League One golden boot.
Reports suggest Celtic have been monitoring the player and his situation at Peterborough -having missed out on a play-off promotion spot to the Championship it’s widely expected that Marriot will love for a move away from the club.
This has alerted several Championship sides as well as Celtic.
The 23-year-old fits into Celtic’s model is someone they can bring in relatively young and potentially sell on for a high fee.
However, with Celtic’s main concern still wrapping Osdonne Edouard up on a permanent deal, the club could be simply hedging their bets in case a move falls through.
