CELTIC are leaving no stone unturned in the search for players who can make a genuine difference to a side who have swept up everything in front of them domestically for the past three years.

Celtic have been linked with a lot of players so far this summer but an interesting link has emerged this morning in the form of former Manchester Utd man, Paddy McNair! We wrote a piece a couple of weeks back about why Celtic should look at the player and it looks like there could be an interest.

According to TeamTalk, the Scottish Champions have enquired about the availability of McNair with current club Middlesbrough unsure of his future.

McNair can play as a defensive midfielder, centre back and even right back so he could fill a few positions in the Celtic squad.

‘Boro signed McNair from Sunderland for £5m but after a season they may have to take a loss on the player.
