Reports: Board Decision Shows Fans are Being Treated with Contempt

Reports this evening have suggested that the Celtic board will not be rushed into deciding the managerial position after coming under increased pressure in the last 24 hours.

As reported by the Scotsman it is said the major shareholders at Celtic ‘refuse to be rushed’ into taking action on whether boss Neil Lennon should be removed from his post, after going on a run of two wins in 10 games.

It is starting to look increasingly likely that the Northern Irishman will be in place for Thursday nights Europa League tie in Italy against AC Milan. Although the tie may be a dead rubber with the hoops already out of the competition, it is pretty unfathomable how he will remain in his job as manager till then.

In this season, of all seasons we can not afford to be waiting and taking long over decisions like this which could be crucial.

To me, it seems as though the board are being extremely stubborn and trying to hold their ground, to make sure it doesn’t look as though they are giving in to the protests last night.

Its got to a said, we have got to a stage where that cant happen. Change needs to come and it needs to come now.
