Reports from Japan have suggested that Ange Postecoglou is close to officially becoming the next Celtic boss but one thing is holding the deal up.
According to Japanse based journalist, Scott McIntyre the current hold-up in the Postecoglou deal is currently waiting for him to be released by his current side, Yokohama F. Marinos, who are looking to make a suitable appointment before he departs.
My understanding is that a deal to take Ange Postecoglou to @CelticFC has been agreed, the only holdup is securing a release from his current club & the appointment of a suitable replacement. Long overdue move for one of the world's most innovative & unrelenting coaches.

From a Celtic point of view, the board will be hoping that this doesn’t take long. Perhaps the Yokohama have a particular candidate in mind that they will make a swift move for.
All the other details to bring Postecoglou to the club appear to be sown up, so you wouldn’t think we are too far away from an announcement of the former Australian boss.
It is certainly a left-field move to bring Postecoglou to the club but elsewhere, he seems to be gaining rave reviews.
After the whole Eddie Howe saga, whoever was the next man to come in was always going to be a tough job.
