Given links to the likes of Lawrence Shankland and Mathias Kvistgaarden, it seems as though Celtic may be in the market for a striker this January. It comes amid the confirmation that Oh is heading to the Asian Cup with South Korea.
It was expected that Kyogo would be heading to Qatar too although Hajime Moriyasu’s decision to not include him in the Japan squad may lessen Brendan Rodgers’ desire to sign a centre-forward this month.
Despite this, the Hoops have been linked with many frontmen, one of those being Bojan Miovski. Celtic was reported to be considering a move for the player at the start of December, and the latest update from Sky Sports has outlined the fee Aberdeen may want for their star man.

It is said that any club looking to sign Miovski this month would need to pay a sum that eclipses the £5,000,000 the Dons received for the sale of Calvin Ramsay in 2022.
Although this is a fair sum, it is not outside the champions’ capabilities to shell out such a fee. Some may argue there is better value elsewhere, yet Miovski is proven in Scottish football and at 24, still has lots of room for development.
There are still a number of weeks remaining in the window meaning numerous other players will be linked with moves to Glasgow’s east end, but Miovski’s name is undoubtedly one to keep an eye on.
