A deal for Honduran winger Luis Palma to join Celtic has moved on rather swiftly since word of it initially came about.
It wasn’t long before a fee was agreed between the Hoops and Anis Thessaloniki, and now, the player himself is in London.
According to Diez, Palma is currently in the English capital undergoing medical tests. It is said that the 23-year-old will travel to Glasgow tomorrow and that he will be ‘formally presented’ as a new Hoops’ player on Tuesday or Wednesday.

In terms of his squad number, Palma wanted the 17 shirt. Jota left it vacant for a short while after he left for Al-Ittihad, although Maik Nawrocki soon snapped it up. Due to this, Diez claims that the Honduran international has been offered the iconic number 7 jersey, which he will wear.
No Celtic player has stood out wearing the seven since Henrik Larsson. Palma has big boots to fill, but he looks to be a shrewd buy whose record of over 20 goal contributions over the past year is undeniably respectable.
