According to reports on Tuesday evening, Celtic midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi has suffered a new injury setback in his quest to break into Ange Postecoglou’s starting XI.
Yosuke came in with Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda, but an injury on his debut set him back months. The Japanese man was back in pre-season training and looked raring to go for the new season, until an injury has seemingly curtailed any of his immediate Celtic plans.
SunSport report the midfielder pulled up in training and will now miss the beginning of the season.

There hasn’t been a time frame put on things, if it’s just a knock, it could see Yosuke brought back into the picture quite quickly after the Aberdeen game.
Celtic were chasing a defensive midfielder this transfer window but changed their position by bringing in Aaron Mooy who Ange Postecoglou believes could play the holding role at certain stages this season.
Ange will be patient with Yosuke and will want to give the player a crack at the first team when he’s fit.
Bad luck and bad timing can be fatal to any players chances of making it at one particular club. We hope the Ideguchi can make a similar impact to Reo and Daizen before the season is out.
CeltsAreHere.com will be speaking with Ange Postecoglou later this week and will find out more about the injury.
