Giuseppe Ambrosino’s future could reportedly be decided this week, with Italian reports suggesting that Cremonese will hold talks with Napoli over a possible move for the striker, a player said to be under consideration by Celtic.
According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Ambrosino is one of four players Napoli are looking to move on this summer.

The 21-year-old forward is understood to be available, with Napoli boss Antonio Conte instructing sporting director Giovanni Manna to find new clubs for those not in his first-team plans.
Cremonese, who have returned to Serie A after winning promotion, are reportedly keen to bring in the young Italian. Talks between the two clubs are expected to take place on Wednesday as they look to agree on a deal.
Ambrosino, who featured for Italy at the U21 Euros earlier this summer, has attracted interest after a strong season and promising performances on the international stage. He spent last season out on loan and is believed to be on Brendan Rodgers’ radar as Celtic continue to explore attacking options.
The Hoops are close to completing the signing of Shin Yamada from Kawasaki Frontale in a deal worth around £1.5million. The Japanese forward is set to become Celtic’s first attacking addition of the window, but Rodgers is still in the market for more forward options, with depth needed for a long campaign in multiple competitions.
Talks also remain ongoing with Royal Antwerp over Michel-Ange Balikwisha. The Belgian attacker has been tracked by the Parkhead club for some time and remains a live target.

While Celtic remain in the hunt for new forwards, the fresh push from Cremonese to land Ambrosino could complicate matters. With Napoli keen to offload and Cremonese moving quickly, Rodgers may have to make a decision soon if he wants the striker to head to Glasgow.
Corriere del Mezzogiorno’s update signals that things are moving fast behind the scenes in Italy, and any potential deal for Ambrosino could take shape in the coming days.
