Fan favourite Odsonne Edouard is keen to make a move out of Celtic this summer, but according to SunSport, his wage demands are putting a potential transfer in jeopardy.

Alan Nixon reported that the French under 21’s international demands at least £85,000 a week. Celtic have set an asking price of £15 million as the forward is in the last year of his contract, with clubs able to scoop up ‘French Eddy’ on a pre-contract agreement in January 2022. His demands are said to have settled Southhampton’s interest, but Brighton does remain in for Celtic’s number 22, with the Seagulls’ gaffer being an admirer of the striker.
Edouard has fallen out of favour, finding himself benched for the last three games, and will likely find new bhoy Kyogo leading the line again today in the Premier Sports Cup tie against Hearts.
There is no doubt the Frenchman has the ability to perform in the Premier League, but his wage demands will scare off potential bidders.
