Report: Defender’s Head Has Been Turned by Celtic Interest

According to reports, Scotland international and Motherwell star Declan Gallagher has had his head turned by interest from Celtic and is holding out for his dream return to Parkhead this summer.

Gallagher is out of contract at the end of the season and it’s inferred he’s heard there’s a solid interest from the Hoops, reported by HITC.

Gallagher has done well for his country since Steve Clarke put his trust in the big centre-back but there’s not a huge appetite from Celtic fans to bring the player back.

The Motherwell star was an academy player at Celtic once upon a time and he is a huge Celtic fan.

Right now, Celtic need to get on with the business of appointing a new management structure at the club but there’s still scouts at the club making plans.

Gallagher would be best waiting until after the Euro’s to choose his next move. If he can make an impact for his country, there will be a decent contract for him somewhere.
