Celtic’s interest in Lennon Miller could face a serious hurdle, with reports claiming Serie A newcomers Como are lining up a bid for the Motherwell midfielder.
SunSport report that the Italian side, under the management of former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, are preparing to test Motherwell’s resolve after scouting Miller while tracking Nicolas Kuhn last season.

The Hoops have had a long-standing interest in Miller and had previously sounded out the Steelmen over a potential deal in January. But with competition intensifying from abroad, the teenager could be the latest Scottish export to head for Italy.
Miller has already clocked up over 60 first-team appearances at just 18, and his performances last season have drawn attention from across Europe, with Serie A rivals Udinese and French side Strasbourg also believed to be monitoring the situation. Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with interest in the past.

New Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou has made no secret of the club’s willingness to sell if the right offer arrives, and the Premier Sports Cup opener against Clyde this weekend could be one of Miller’s last appearances in claret and amber.
Celtic may look to re-enter the frame, especially if the Kuhn deal is completed, freeing up funds. But they’ll need to move fast, Como are serious about taking Miller to Italy, and the clock is ticking.
