Partick Thistle are eyeing a double swoop for Celtic youngsters Josh Clarke and Kyle Ure as Mark Wilson looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign, according to a report from RecordSport.

Clarke spent last season on loan at Ayr United, gaining Championship experience, and previously had a stint at Airdrie where he also impressed between the sticks.
The 20-year-old is highly thought of within Celtic’s youth setup and has regularly trained with the senior squad. A move to Thistle would offer him a chance of regular first-team football under a manager who understands the demands of playing at the top level.
But Clarke isn’t the only Celtic player on Wilson’s radar. The Jags are also pushing to bring in midfielder Kyle Ure on a temporary deal.

Wilson, a former Celtic full-back himself, is looking to add depth and quality to his squad and sees both players as good fits for Thistle’s style and ambition this season. The club are eager to conclude deals swiftly as they prepare for the start of the Championship campaign.
Celtic are open to loaning out both players, with the Parkhead club keen to ensure young players gain competitive minutes at a good level. If the Jags can secure both targets, it would represent a significant boost to their squad ahead of a tough league schedule.
