Celtic have reportedly held fresh talks today as they look to push through a deal for Jakob Breum before the transfer window closes.

Breum is seen as a key target by Brendan Rodgers, who wants to add more creativity and depth to his forward options.

The latest talks suggest that Celtic are now ready to get serious about bringing Breum to Glasgow. With the new season already underway and limited time left in the window, the club appears to be upping its efforts to get deals done.
Breum has stood out in the Dutch top flight and is thought to have interest from other clubs, including FC Twente. That puts extra pressure on Celtic to act quickly if they want to win the race for his signature.

Part of the delay in progress is down to a sell-on clause owed to Breum’s former club, Odense, which means Go Ahead Eagles won’t see the full transfer fee themselves. That’s made them even more firm in their valuation.
Today’s talks mark the strongest move yet by Celtic in the chase for Breum. With just days to go before the window closes, the club now has to decide whether to match the asking price or risk losing out on one of their main attacking targets.
