Brendan Rodgers will be unveiled as the new Celtic manager on MONDAY barring any last minute hiccups.
The stage is set for a stunning return in what could be the redemption arc none of us could have seen coming even two weeks ago.
Brendan’s time at Celtic was incredibly successful but the vitriol and hurt in the aftermath of his exit to Leicester was so fierce, I could not have envisioned a return to the club for the Irishman just four years later.
But as we bake under the surreal Scottish heat, the finishing touches are being put on the former manager’s return. [SunSport]
Brendan will come back with assurances from Dermot Desmond and the club over what he can do.
Celtic dominated under his tutelage but in Europe we were nothing to write him about apart a couple of isolated games. If Rodgers is coming back it’s with a view to changing the Hoops’ fortunes on the big stage. It’s exciting times.
