Celtic has reportedly extended an offer to acquire the services of the Polish defender, Maik Nawrocki, as per reports from Transfery.info. Nawrocki, a 22-year-old centre-back, has had an impressive season with Legia Warsaw, contributing significantly to their triumph in the Polish Cup.
Furthermore, his performance played a key role in the team’s achievement of becoming the runners-up in the Polish Championship.
Nawrocki’s commendable performance has not gone unnoticed, attracting considerable interest from several clubs since the winter. However, the management at Legia Warsaw decided to bide their time, a strategy that appears to be paying off.

According to Transfery.info, Celtic has now officially made an offer for Nawrocki, which, inclusive of all bonuses, totals up to six million euros.
Nawrocki, who came through the Werder Bremen academy, is contracted to Legia Warsaw until 2025. During his tenure, he has made 60 top-flight appearances for the club.
Celtic’s interest in Nawrocki comes at a time when the club is urgently seeking to bolster its defence. First team defenders are thin on the ground when CCV or Starfelt are out injured.
