Celtic will head to Poland on July 20 to face Legia Warsaw in an Artur Boruc testimonial of sorts.
The former Hoops goalkeeper has officially retired form the game and competitive action, however, he’s set to pull on the gloves one last time during the friendly encounter.
It’s the two clubs that have meant the most to Artur during his long and glittering career. It was assumed the goalkeeper would play the whole game for Polish side, but according to SunSport, there’s now rumours Artur is set to dawn the Celtic jersey one last time.
The paper revealed there’s talk of Artur playing a half for both sides during the game. This would have to be okayed by the two clubs and Ange Postecoglou who might have other ideas about giving his current goalkeepers some game time.

A lot of Celtic fans would love to see this happen as one-off. The Holy goalie has a special place in Celtic history and it would be fitting for him to pull on the famous jersey one final time.
Artur Boruc and Celtic
Boruc signed for Celtic under Gordon Strachan, he was quite the character, having bust ups with opposition players and his own teammates at times. The famous scrap with Aiden McGeady is well documented.
Blessing himself before every game at the goal posts put him in the firing line for rival fans. The goalkeeper was accused of attempting to incite a riot by simply blessing himself. An incredible accusation at the time.
Arun had no time for the Ibrox club or their supporters and the fans loved him for it.
