CELTIC MIDFIELDER Reo Hatate will miss the Glasgow Derby on Saturday, Ange Postecoglou has confirmed.

He hasn’t trained since he picked up an injury in the match against Hibs before the international break, with Ange Postecoglou confirming he was edging closer to a return last Sunday. However, the midfielder will sit this one out, Postecoglou confirmed to the press.
Colin Watt, a representative from A Celtic State of Mind, the fan media organisation in attendance at today’s press conference, confirmed the injury blow.

The Aussie manager did predict that he’d manage to be back in time for the Glasgow Derby, but in the pictures released from training, Reo Hatate doesn’t appear to be training.
It’s a massive blow for Celtic; he’s been absolutely sensational this season, pulling the strings in midfield. Since the World Cup break, he’s taken it to another level.
It’ll be interesting to see who starts on Saturday, with Iwata playing the full match on Sunday, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him in the starting lineup with McGregor and Mooy.
