Although several Celtic players returned to Lennoxtown last week for pre-season, others remain on their summer breaks due previous to international commitments.
The likes of Greg Taylor, Callum McGregor, James Forrest, and Daizen Maeda are galavanting before they return to Glasgow ahead of 2024/25, along with Reo Hatate.
The midfielder played for Japan against Myanmar last month, before being an unused substitute against Syria a few days later.
His summer break started a bit late because he played for his country in June, meaning he will return to Celtic for the new season after some of his teammates.
Currently enjoying some time back in his homeland, Hatate recently visited his old school. The 26-year-old gave back to his community and played football with kindergarten and middle school kids.

Despite Celtic stardom, Hatate hasn’t forgotten his roots. The former Kawasaki Frontale man remains true to his homeland and gave some children a moment they’ll cherish.
