Celtic’s tireless forward Daizen Maeda has taken to Twitter to joke about finally getting a breather after a relentless schedule.

With no midweek fixture for Celtic, Maeda and his teammates will get a short break before Sunday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final against Hibernian at Celtic Park.
Maeda, who has been in sensational form, played eight full 90-minute matches in February. Now, with a rare gap in the fixture list, the Japanese forward is embracing the chance to recharge.
He humorously posted:
“Everyone, let’s take a break! 😮💨”

Given his non-stop energy and work rate, few would argue that Maeda deserves it. But come Sunday, Celtic fans will be hoping their in-form attacker is back at full throttle as the Hoops chase a domestic treble.
Hibs will be no walkovers. They showed last weekend that they can pull out a shock and get a result.
They’ll be coming to Celtic Park full of confidence and with 7,000 supporters backing them.
Hopefully, Celtic can be fully charged up, with some rest in their legs for the cup tie.
If the Hoops do emerge victorious, there will be no Rangers in the next round of the Scottish Cup. Queens Park knocked them out in one of Philippe Clement’s last games in charge.
