CHRIS SUTTON’s verdict in Celtic’s loss to Milan will resonate with many supporters after watching a spirited fight back in the second half.
Neil Lennon started with the same system which saw his side put in such a toothless performance in the derby. The first half of the Milan game was more of the same.

However, ditching the 3-5-2 and introducing players like Moi, Rogic and Christie certainly made a big difference. Had Celtic been sharper in the final third, they could have snatched a late equaliser. However, chasing the game caught up to the bhoys and Milan got a very late third.

It’s a night of what ifs for Neil Lennon and his men. Could they have made a bigger impact if he had started with a back four on the night.
While there was second half positive, Sutton does concede, overall, it was not good enough.
No doubt Neil Lennon will regret not going with a back 4… Laxalt very good and good to see Rogic back with some nice touches… can’t get away from it though another disappointing night for Celtic…
