Celtic are in desperate need of points amid two league losses in a row. The Bhoys were defeated firstly by Kilmarnock before Hearts came to Parkhead and took three points on Saturday.
Question marks have been posed over the players and management after such form but the one certain thing is that improvements must be made. Games against Livingston and Dundee provide an ideal opportunity for the Celts to bounce back.
On Saturday, the Lions will come to Glasgow’s east end. In charge of that one will be Matthew MacDermid.
After the clash with bottom-of-the-table Livi, The Bhoys make a Boxing Day trip to Dundee. Tony Docherty has done a terrific job at Dens Park this season and will be eager to secure a result against a Celtic team that is currently toiling. Refereeing the Hoops’ fixture the day after Christmas is Don Robertson.
For next weekend’s Glasgow derby, a referee is yet to be announced. At the beginning of next week, he will likely be confirmed. Whoever it is will come under scrutiny but before that colossal clash, Brendan Rodgers’ men must negotiate games against Livi and The Dee.
