Next weekend, Celtic return to action with another big test as Ange Postecoglou gears up for his first visit to Hampden Park.
The Hoops take on St Johnstone, as they look to bounce back from last year’s domestic disappointment, by booking a further trip to the country’s national stadium next month.
Less than a week away from the game, preparations continue to get underway, with referee Nick Walsh being confirmed as the man who will be taking charge of the game via the SFA website.
Of course, it wasn’t too long ago that these two sides faced off at Celtic Park and Walsh was once again the man in the middle for the Hoops comfortable 2-0 victory over the Saints.
If you cast your mind back to that game, you may remember an incident that saw striker Chris Kane kicking out at Cameron Carter-Vickers, with both players somehow coming away with a yellow card.
With the way Ange Postecoglou has his side playing, referees aren’t likely to come into any of our thinking when it comes to the end result.
This is Scottish Football, though, and as we all know, it is filled with controversy.
We can only hope that we see better officiating this time around, in comparison to when the two teams met most recently.
