The rumours Celtic are chasing Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic are intensifying over the last 24 hours with more than one outlet home and abroad pointing to a potential move.
According to Football Scotland, Celtic are monitoring Sead’s situation in Russia after it emerged the player is now training alone as he pushes for a move out of the country.

Rubin paid £6m for Haksabanovic back in 2021 but the move hasn’t worked out. Mark Hendry also writes in his Football Scotland piece the player is keen on a move to the Scottish champions and a reduced fee to move him out of Kazan is a real possibility.
Celtic have a good options out on the wing, we’d be surprised to see the bhoys put big money down for any player in that position. A loan with an option to buy would likely be up Celtic’s street.
People will say we are full up in that department but it’s important to keep things moving and bed new players in so when it’s time for an Abada, or Maeda to move on, we already have someone to fill their shoes without taking a massive gamble.
The window closes on September 1st this year giving the bhoys around two weeks to do some more business.
