St Johnstone chairman Steve Brown has laid down a marker, insisted that midfielder Ali McCann will not be sold on a cheap.
McCann is a player who Celtic have reportedly watched on several occasions this season but the Saints official has stated that he won’t be let go for less than their record sale, which is around £1.75 million.

The writers young player of the year nominee has had an impressive season in Callum Davidson’s side who won a cup double last weekend.
He featured 31 times overall last season, scoring two goals and setting up another two as the 21-year old was a mainstay in the side.
With this summers up-and-coming rebuild, the club has a lot of transfer business to do in quite a short space of time, with our first pre-season fixture coming up on the 7th of July.
