The game might be a dead rubber for Celtic but the Hoops support aren’t missing a chance to follow their side to Madrid next week for the final Champions League tie of the group stage.
Celtic haven’t managed to turn performances into results over the piece and will finish bottom of the group after a 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk at Celtic Park.
The game at the Bernabeu is still a highly sought after ticket. The bhoys haven’t played there since the early 80s. It promises to be a fun away day for the fans, but if you’re hoping to snag a ticket for the home or neutral end of the stadium, the Spanish club have put provisions in place to try and stop Celtic fans from getting their hands on briefs outside the small away allocation.

The European Champions have geoblocked the ticket site for people inside the UK and Ireland. If you get past that problem with a VPN, it will also flag you if you’re trying to pay for the tickets from a non-Spanish bank account. Not to mention, there could be checks in place outside the stadium in an attempt to block Celtic fans from using any tickets they manage to get their hands on.
Celtic fans who travel with the club go above and beyond and have done some crazy things over the years to gain access to whatever stadium Celtic will be playing.
We expect to see some Hoops supporters dotted about the iconic Spanish venue on the night.
