‘Reacted Even More’ – Borna Barisic Makes Crazy Celtic Fan Claim

Borna Barisic has told RecordSport that had he been taunted by Celtic fans on the street rather than coming out of Celtic Park, it would have been a different story.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Ahead of this weekend’s semi-final match at Hampden, Barasic was asked about him staring and giving a bit back to the Celtic Park crowd outside the stadium after their 3-2 defeat.

“Someone was saying bad things at me and I don’t like that,” Barisic explained.

“I reacted but on the streets I may have reacted even more. But we are not on the streets and I represent this club.”

What a juvenile and pathetic statement from the Ibrox player.

Let’s be clear, grown men shouting abuse at rival players after a match is also in that category.

However, comments come out on an almost daily basis from the Ibrox club that lack any sort of sense or class.

There’s no other way to interpret Borna’s comments other than he wants to fight Celtic fans who shout abuse at him.

Well there’s going to be 25k Celtic fans doing it on Sunday, mate. Borna has been regularly given abuse by his own fans after these games after being one of the main culprits for their downfall on more than one occasion.

Al the talk from the other side of Glasgow means nothing. They do it game after game while Celtic players go about their business in a professional manner.
