The first Glasgow Derby of the season is upon us, and already the pressure is piling up at Ibrox.
Celtic head across the city six points clear at the top of the table, having taken maximum points from their opening three games. Rangers, under new boss Russell Martin, are still searching for their first league win after a stuttering start that’s seen them draw all three.
For Brendan Rodgers, it’s a chance to immediately bounce back from the midweek European disaster in Kazakhstan — a bruising exit on penalties that’s left fans frustrated. All focus now turns to domestic dominance.

Celtic Team News
Despite a gruelling midweek Champions League exit in Kazakhstan, Rodgers is expected to name a strong and familiar side at Ibrox.
We now might not have Adam Idah for the trip, with the player having a Swansea medical. However, Brendan Rodgers told CeltsAreHere he will NOT be letting the player leave without a striker in the door first. That striker appears to be Kasper Dolberg, who Celtic look like they’re closing in on. Safe to say Dolberg, even if signed over the weekend, won’t play at Ibrox, which means Maeda up top. It does, however, leave the door open for new boy Balikwisha to start.
Anthony Ralston missed training on Friday, but should be fine when Sunday comes.
Celtic Predicted XI (4-3-3)
Here’s how we expect Celtic to line up at Ibrox:
GK: Kasper Schmeichel
RB: Anthony Ralston
CB: Cameron Carter-Vickers
CB: Liam Scales
LB: Kieran Tierney
CM: Callum McGregor
CM: Reo Hatate
CM: Nygren
RW: James Forrest
ST: Daizen Maeda
LW: Balikwisha

Rangers to Keep Russell Martin
Rangers will be looking to bounce back from their 6-0 defeat on Wednesday night against Club Brugge. Russel Martin will still be in the dugout for the Glasgow Derby after a rough start to life as Ibrox boss.
Their team has been getting leaked quite prominently before matches, and the same could happen on Sunday.
‘Leaked’ Rangers Team
Rangers have had their teams ‘leaked’ regularly this season, and seemingly, this is it;
Butland
Arrons
Djiga
Souttar
Meghoma
Barron
Cameron
Rothwell
Gassama
Antman
Danilo
The confirmed lineups will be announced at 11:15 BST on Sunday — just over an hour before kick-off.
We’ll update this page with the official teams as soon as they’re in. Keep checking back for the latest on the Glasgow Derby.
