Ralston Receives Huge Summer Boost

ANTHONY RALSTON’s Scotland snubs may soon come to an end, with Nathan Patterson sidelined with an ankle injury.

The Celtic right-back has found himself excluded from Steve Clarke’s recent Scotland squads, but with Nathan Patterson’s injury ending his season, Ralston has an opportunity to step up and feature for Scotland in June as they attempt to qualify for the World Cup.

This season, Ralston has been brilliant for the Hoops; his stats are good viewing. With seven assists and four goals, he’s easily the best Scottish right-back in Scotland.

Hopefully, Steve Clarke looks by Stephen O’Donnell, who’s yet to register a goal or assist in his 25 matches and call up the in-form full-back in Ralston.

Postecoglou has told Tony to use his snubs as motivation to earn a call up to represent his country and credit to Ralston he has.

He’s turned his Celtic career around and has been rewarded a long-term contract with the club.
