Queens Park star Louis Longridge made sure to pay tribute to Celtic after the Spiders knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup yesterday at Ibrox.
Longridge, who started the game at the heart of midfield, played a crucial role in the win, providing the assist for Seb Drozd’s winner in the 69th minute of the game.

With Queens Park relative underdogs going into the game, a day after Celtic had eased past Championship opposition on Saturday night, all eyes were on Rangers to see if they could do the same.
Despite Rangers fielding a strong team, Callum Davidson ultimately got his tactics spot on, with Queens Park goalkeeper Calum Ferrie putting in the performance of his life.
Longridge took to social media after the game, heralding a ‘beautiful Sunday’ in tribute to Celtic, who often play the 1972 Daniel Boone classic after Glasgow derby wins.
What a day!!!! Thanks for coming… Beautiful Sunday ! 🐝🐝. @queensparkfc

The win means Queens Park will be in the hat for tonight’s quarter-final draw, with St Mirren vs. Hearts being the last game of the round. The draw is set to take place following the game at the SMISA Stadium on BBC Scotland.
With Aberdeen, Dundee, Hibernian, St Johnstone, Livingston, and Queen’s Park all booking a place in the next round, the quarter-finals are set to take place on the weekend of Saturday, 8th March.
