‘Quality Player, ‘Must Start’: Many Celtic Fans Want Bench Warmer to Start at Pittodrie

TOM ROGIC came on in place of Scott Brown on Thursday night against AC Milan and proved to be a bright spark in the game.

The Australian was injured at the start of the season but has since found himself in the bench, unable to make the breakthrough under Neil Lennon this term.

However, for not playing much, the midfielder looked like he had a point to prove and was a big reason why Celtic got back in the game.

His pitch awareness was great, showing good touches and getting the ball moving. For the final 20 minutes, Celtic looked like they could pull something off. In the end, pushing for an equaliser seen the bhoys concede a third on the night.

Aberdeen is next up for Celtic in the SPFL. Celtic’s change of formation in the second half of the Milan game is more than food for thought and should be instituted from the start at Pittodrie.

We asked our Twitter followers if Rogic has earned a start for Sunday; many were in agreement but does that come at Brown’s expense?:
