Quadtreble is Still on Confirms STV Reporter

Chris Sutton spoke on Wednesday evening of the bhoys missing out on a potential quadtreble due to circumstances beyond their control.

However, it appears that there could be good news on that front.

According to STV Raman, the Scottish Cup is still being planned to go ahead at the start of next season – whenever that will be.

The semi-final and final acting as a curtain raiser for the next campaign.

Celtic were thirteen points clear at the top of the SPFL table when the shutdown occurred. They were also preparing for a semi-final at Hampden against Aberdeen.

The SFA have not given a definite to the competition going ahead but it appears to be in the works and Celtic could yet make more history.

Right now, the matter of how to finish the league is being voted on. The lower tiers have been recommended to finish immediately with winners and losers. The Premiership decision is to go a little longer but end it in the same way if football can’t be played.
