Celtic put in a top performance against the Icelandic champions on Tuesday night, running out 6-0 winners. the bhoys are safely through to the next round of the competition and will find out their opponents for next week, late on Wednesday evening.
However, there are many supporters who are raving about Elhamed’s return to the squad on Tuesday night with the defender picked over Jeremie Frimpong at right-back.
Elhamed has suffered with injuries since coming to Celtic but most of the times when he has played, he’s looked the part. Tuesday night was no different, the defender was resolute at the back and played very well going forward.
This has led to many Celtic fans believing if we can keep this guy fit, he could have a big part to play in the season.
Elhamed is a player and a physical unit too. Hope we get more than a dozen games out of him this season.
