CHRIS SUTTON is pulling no punches again and this time it’s with Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstong.

The Scottish International has been off the boil since the start of the season when he was locked in talks with the Celtic money men about a new deal.

When he didn’t sign longterm many Celtic fans were disappointed in the lack of Armstrong’s commitment, especially after last season.

The man with the finest hair in Scottish Football has rarely captured last seasons form and Chris Sutton has seen enough.

“Stuart Armstrong, for me, has been a massive disappointment,” pundit Sutton told BT Sport in a question-and-answer session on Friday night. “He took his time over the contract, didn’t sign long term. If I was Celtic I would punt him in January.”
