Celtic failed to net for only the fourth time this season on Saturday afternoon. Away at Hibs, the Hoops couldn’t come up with an answer to some sound defensive play.
Despite efforts from the likes of Daizen Maeda, Luis Palma, and Kyogo, the champions drew a blank. As well as this, the subs who came on to try and influence the game didn’t pose much of a goal threat.
Indeed striker Oh has yet to win over the Parkhead faithful, and many are of the belief a striker should be on Brendan Rodgers’ transfer wishlist for January. Pundit Tam McManus thinks Bojan Miovskis is a name that should be considered.
The North Macedonian international has scored nine goals in sixteen appearances across all competitions this campaign, and McManus believes he is a cut above the level of the Dons. He said on PLZ Soccer: “I think he could go in there and contribute to Celtic and Rangers. I’m not trying to sell him but I think Aberdeen will struggle to hold onto him because he’s still scoring goals in a team that’s pretty poor at the minute.”

The Hoops could do with another centre-forward and Miovski is proven in Scotland having spent almost a year and a half at Pittodrie. An international player, he is still just 24 years of age so does have some room for future development.
Nevertheless, he could be the ideal backup striker for Kyogo. Rodgers needs reliability and goals. Oh may not be providing that at the moment, but Miovski could.
