Pundit Outlines “Quite simple” Criteria For Celtic’s Season To End Well

The Scottish Premiership season is reaching a climactic end with Celtic having just four league games to go.

A hard-fought victory at Dens Park on Sunday ticked another crucial match off the list during a run-in which is at a crescendo.

James Forrest’s fine brace was enough for the Hoops to come away deserved 2-1 victors in a match that could have easily ended differently.

Brendan Rodgers’ side remain three points clear at the top of the table as they prepare for the visit of Hearts to Parkhead this Saturday.

The Jambos have proved problematic opposition for the Bhoys this season and a week after they make the trip to Glasgow’s east end, Rangers jaunt across the city.

The next two games are the most difficult domestic home ties but the Hoops know that if they win them both, they can more or less wrap up the title.

Although the upcoming matches are undoubtedly tough, Clyde 1 Superscoreboard pundit Gordon Dalziel thinks the objective for the Celts is straightforward.

He said: [Clyde 1 Superscoreboard] “In my opinion, Andrew, it’s quite simple for Celtic. They’ve got two home games coming up; win both of them, and they’ll be crowned champions.

“As much as it’s easy to say on paper ‘two home games, six points wins you the league’, of course it will. But it’s two difficult games.”
