Celtic’s matchday squad has been released, with some additions but also missing players. [Daily Record]
James McCarthy is included on the list and could make his debut for his boyhood club. Signing a 4-year contract with the hoops over a week ago, the Irishman needed time to get up to speed, missing both legs against Jablonec and the Cinch SPFL opener against Dundee.
The biggest surprise is the squad does not include Kyogo Furuhashi. However, this is only a provisional squad and is subject to change, meaning the 26-year-old can still feature this afternoon. As things stand, want-away Odsonne Edouard could be set to lead the line once again, after becoming the second choice to Kyogo.

Abada is back in the squad after his Europa League absence.
Dane Murray and Scott Robertson are also called up after featuring for the Celtic B side midweek, where the team came out 2-0 winners in the SPFL Trust Trophy.
