Promising Performance: Celtic B Fight Back to Win

CELTIC B had to come from behind to collect all three points as they faced the University of Stirling on Sunday. The win means Tommy McIntyre’s side sit second in the Lowland League.

The opposition took the lead after just four minutes. Jamie Penker was played in behind as he struck the ball past Tobi Oluwayemi in the net.

The young hoops had to fight back. Ben Summers received a ball from Ben Doak on the twenty-five-minute mark. The promising talent made no mistake as he slotted the ball into the back of the net.

The game opened up before Celtic took the lead in the second half. This time, Summers set up the goal playing it across to Brooks, who struck the ball into the corner of the net.

The young side wasn’t finished yet. Late into the second half, Ben Brooks was through one-on-one with the keeper, and he doubled his goal tally for the game and secured the three points.

Those who tuned in on the Pass To Paradise witnessed an exhilarating game. The match finished 3-1 to the Celtic Colts.
