Celtic, under the stewardship of Ange Postecoglou, have enjoyed a successful season, and they will be looking to cap it off with a victory in the final, leading Celtic to te treble.

As Celtic prepare to face Inverness in the Scottish Cup final, I take a look at the predicted starting eleven for the Hoops.

In goal, I expect to see Joe Hart, who has been a consistent figure between the sticks for Celtic this season. Many Celtic fans are hoping that the goalkeeper position can be strengthened this summer, with Carter-Vickers’ absence showcasing Hart’s flaws.

The back four is likely to consist of Johnston, Iwata, Starfelt, and Taylor. Johnston’s pace and defensive solidity will be key on the right, with midfielder, Iwata, benefiting from the Canadian’s return to the team against Aberdeen.

In midfield, Matt O’Riley, Callum McGregor, and Reo Hatate are expected to start. O’Riley’s vision and passing range, combined with McGregor’s box-to-box energy and Hatate’s technical skills, should provide a balanced and dynamic midfield trio.

Up front, the attacking trident is likely to be Maeda, Jota, and Kyogo. Maeda’s speed and direct running from the left, coupled with Jota’s creativity and goal threat from the right, will provide ample service for Kyogo, who will be looking to add to his impressive goal tally from the central striker position.

Despite Kyogo’s knock, I cant see the striker not starting, with Oh remaining on the bench. The Japanese striker loves the big games, and will have been at Postecoglou’s door all week asking to start.
