Celtic take on Lazio this evening in the Europa League with the bhoys looking to extend their lead at the top if they can find a way past the Italians.

The bhoys in green will be up against it and will need their star striker Odsonne Edouard to step up and get among the goals.

One thing we can’t see happen is Odsonne getting cautioned on the night. The striker has had two yellow cards already in the competition and if he gets booked against Lazio this evening he would miss the reverse fixture in Rome

This goes for the rest of his Europa League outings. If the striker picks up a yellow he will face an automatic ban in the competition.

Accumulative yellow cards aren’t wiped until after quarterfinal stage of the competition so it’s likely at some point we may be without our talisman.

Celtic fans would like to see Leigh Griffiths back in contention before anything like that happened. Right now it would be down to Vakoun Bayo alone if Eddy was suspended.
