THE Celtic Academy Official twitter has confirmed tonight’s Glasgow Cup game vs The Rangers at Auchenhowie has been postponed.

The Glasgow rivals youth sides were supposed to clash tonight but will now take place at a date yet to be determined.

However, there is no word yet as to why the game which was scheduled for a 7:30pm KO was called off.

One person on Twitter speculated that the ‘leckie bill’ hadn’t been paid.

These games are a real test for young players making their way up in the game. No matter the level, the intensity and rivalry between the local rivals is there for all to see.
