ANGE POSTECOGLOU and his team take a short coach journey to Hampden Park on Sunday in the hope to regain the League Cup and bring it back home, to Celtic Park. Hibs will be no easy pushover.
To get through to the final, the Edinburgh side defeated The Rangers 3-1. They have shown to go toe-to-toe with Scotland’s top two over the past number of years. Meanwhile, Celtic had to overcome the reigning champions 1-0 to progress to the final.
Ange will be aware of the challenge ahead and a top-class performance will be needed to lift the trophy at 5 o’clock on Sunday evening.
Speaking to the club’s website, Postecoglou talked about the success he wants to bring to Celtic
“When I joined this football club, that was obviously the aim and I was under no illusions that I was to try and bring success to this football club and the first opportunity for that will be Sunday.”
He has already been successful in winning over the fans with his name chanted out weekly around the stadium, home or away. He has got the team believing in him and his style, but most importantly themselves.
