Postecoglou Stunned By Celtic Atmosphere

ANGE POSTECOGLOU appeared on the Open Goal podcast for the second time this season.

Hosted by former Celtic man Si Ferry, he was joined by Paul Slane to interview the Celtic boss.

The first interview was hard to top, but they have produced another great show, well, Ange has.

Again, the manager was relaxed and showed viewers his humorous side. However, he gave those who tuned in a great insight into himself while doing this.

He was asked what he thought of the Glasgow Derby atmosphere. In response, he made it clear he was taken aback.

“It’s unique.

“I’ve managed at a World Cup and that’s just unbelievable. We played Chile, and if you hear the Chileans sing their national anthem… mate it’s the scariest and most inspiring thing you’ll ever hear. It’s just incredible.

“But it’s just unique, the atmosphere at Celtic Park.

“The noise and the songs, you feel the atmosphere as much as anything else. You try and focus on the game but there are moments where you look around going, ‘wow’.”

The atmosphere that night was electric. 60,000 Celtic fans watched their team demolish their rivals in a first-half display that will never be witnessed again.

A brace from Reo Hatate and a gaol from Abada meant Celtic would win their first derby in what felt like an eternity.

Postecoglou’s side blew their rivals away. With two derbies left, fans will hope that the team will repeat the performance.
