Celtic are looking to continue their rebuild by cutting the deadwood from the squad free.
Ange Postecoglou has brought his unique vision to the club, meaning naturally some players won’t fit into his plans. Wish his mass overhaul, Celtic need to move some players on to free up some of the wage budget.
There have already been some exits, with Barkas heading out on loan but Postecoglou is looking to add more names to the list. With Bolingoli, Soro and Ajeti all destined for a Celtic exit this summer.
While Ajeti travelled to Austria, Soro and Bolingoli are believed not to have travelled, with no photos of the duo on Celtic’s social media.
The Celtic manager has confirmed he is in dialogue with players who could be departing the club this summer, hinting there are a few exits lined up. [Football Scotland]
“There’s a few boys in that boat.
“I think for every footballer part of the process is to see how they fit or whether they fit into a picture.
“They all want to play, which is understandable, and sometimes those decisions mean they have to play elsewhere.
“But again, with guys like that, I’m having dialogue with them and it will take its natural course.”
Celtic Needs to Mirror Their Completed Business
With Celtic’s incomings completed efficiently, fans are hoping the same will happen with the departures. The sooner they’re out, the quicker Celtic can budget for more incomings as Ange Postecoglou looks to add quality to his squad ahead of the Champions League group stages.
