Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that January addition Yosuke Ideguchi is available for in this weekend’s Scottish Cup tie against Raith Rovers after recovering from injury.
The Japanese internationalist has had a frustrating start to life in Glasgow, sustaining an injury in the last round of the competition being hit with a nasty challenge which has since kept him out.
As reported by PLZ Soccer, speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s fixture, Postecoglou gave the latest injury update, confirming that Ideguchi would be available for selection once again, with no fresh injury concerns after Wednesday night.
However, the 56-year old did also confirm that Josip Juranovic would be missing for Sunday, as he recovers from illness.

As the weeks go on, Celtic’s squad continues to grow in strength and depth, with several players making a return from injury.
With such minimal game time, we are yet to see the best of Yosuke Ideguchi, who has looked like a tidy addition in his first two games in the Green and White Hoops.
This weekend could prove as a good opportunity for Postecoglou to rotate the side, with the 25-year old midfielder having another chance to impress after his recovery from injury.
