With the title in the bag, all eyes will be on CarterVickers fitness as the Bhoys have a Scottish Cup semifinal against The Rangers to play next week. Celtic fans will be hoping the American defender can see out the season and help The Hoops to another historic treble.

Boss Ange Postecoglou has allayed fears over the fitness of Cameron CarterVickers for the end-of-season runin and the 25yearold has reported for training at Lennoxtown this week.

While the defender is expected to play in Saturday‘s clash with Motherwell and the Glasgow Derby on May 9, Postecoglou admitted that if CarterVickers gets through the next few games, he may need an operation once the league title is secured. [Celtic TV]

Cameron‘s trained all week and will play tomorrow. The only reason he didn‘t play last week was because of the surface.”

Commenting on the surgery CCV is to face, he said:

I can‘t predict the future. If he gets through tomorrow, he‘ll play next week.”

With the title all but wrapped up, all eyes will be on CarterVickers fitness as Celtic look to clinch the first treble under Ange Postecoglou.
