ANGE POSTECOGLOU made a bold move in the Scottish League Cup semi–final, starting Josip Juranovic and giving Giakoumakis a brief 15-minute run out – a move which ultimately paid off as the duo played a crucial role in booking Celtic‘s place in the final.

However, with the transfer window looming, there is potential for both players to be on the move in the near future, with numerous clubs monitoring the situation closely.
Postecoglou has since addressed the speculation, insisting that the pair are still training hard and their attitude remains professional.
He went on to say that any speculation will be addressed by the club’s manager Michael Nicholson before the serious talks being passed to him. Therefore suggesting that neither Giakoumakis nor Juranovic are close to an exit.
As quoted by the Daily Record, the Celtic manager said:
“I keep getting asked questions about Giako and Josip. I watch them every day and they are training hard, their attitude is first rate.
“They are not sitting around moping. There is going to be speculation between now and the end of the window.
“Michael Nicholson deals with the majority of that. If it gets to me, we know it is serious, but as of now there is nothing we need to address.”
